Our MCT Oil (Medium Chain Triglyceride) is a colorless transparent liquid extracted from 100 % Organic certified coconut oil. The oil combines a mixture of saturated fatty acid triglycerides, namely caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). MCT oil thus has shorter carbon chains and smaller relative molecular masses which makes it easily soluble in water. Due to the extremely low content of unsaturated fatty acids in MCT, it has very good oxidative stability. Coconut MCT Oil maintains good stability at very high or very low temperatures.
The unique characteristics of these two fatty acids mean that energy is not stored in our body’s fat cells, liver, muscle or other tissues but it rather rapidly digested, absorbed and converted to instant energy, know as ketones.

If you have heard of the keto or paleo diets, you’ll know that these two diets focus heavily on incorporating healthy fats into your daily food intake. Both keto and paleo often promote MCT oil as a great way to incorporate these fats.
Ketogenic diet - your body makes ketones when you break down fat on a very low-carb diet. This helps to lower your insulin levels and in turn helps you burn fat. MCT oil supports your system to make more ketones, which may help you get to the fat-burning phase faster.

How to Use:

The amount you should take depends on how well you tolerate it, and what benefit you’re looking for. The most you should have in a day is around 4 to 7 tablespoons, however make sure you spread those tablespoons out throughout the day.
Cold pressing under controlled environmental conditions
During our oil drawing process we adhere to a unique method of removing the environmental elements of heat, UV light and oxygen, to ensure that the final product delivers all those delicious flavours, textures and super nutrients that nature intended. Whilst oxygen is life giving to humans, it can wreak havoc with the stability and purity of cold pressed oils and render them useless and possibly toxic. We therefore ensure that we remove all oxygen from the environment within which the oils are drawn, thus preventing any possibility of the oils turning rancid.
Unfiltered, unrefined for the purest extra virgin oil
With such care and attention taken in the drawing of the oil, we then leave our oils unfiltered so that we capture the full value of the fat soluble lignans (antioxidants). Not only do our oils deliver high quality Essential Omega fatty acids, but they also provide much needed protection to your cells. These lignans are more dense than the oil so they will tend to settle, but you just need to swirl the container to mix them back into solution prior to consuming.
Our unrefined, unfiltered, oxygen free oils are a remedy for cell nourishment.
To finish off the process, we pack our light-sensitive oils into dark, amber glass bottles so as to further preserve the nutrients.
